• Fire Leaves Port Washington Home Uninhabitable, 3 Residents Displaced: FD (patch.com) — Port Washington residents are learning more about a serious house fire on Sunset Lane that left a home uninhabitable and displaced three adults, though no one was injured. About 50 firefighters from Port Washington and neighboring departments brought the blaze under control in 40 minutes, and investigators say the cause remains under investigation but is not considered suspicious.
