• Faith-Based Initiative ‘Project Sam' Becomes Officially Recognized by Archdiocese (thenationalherald.com) — A special-needs ministry rooted at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Port Washington has now been officially recognized by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Project Sam grew out of the church’s long-running Challenge Liturgy and now offers monthly inclusive services and Sunday School, with organizers hoping more congregations in New York and beyond adopt the Port Washington model.
