• Fire Leaves Port Washington Home Uninhabitable, 3 Residents Displaced: FD (patch.com) — A Thursday evening house fire on Sunset Lane left a Port Washington home uninhabitable and displaced three adult residents, though no injuries were reported. About 50 firefighters from Port Washington and neighboring departments brought the blaze under control in 40 minutes, and investigators say the cause is under investigation but not considered suspicious.
