Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Nassau: Police

GLEN HEAD, NY — A pedestrian was struck and killed in Glen Head on Tuesday night, police said.

Just before 10:30 p.m., a male victim was struck by a silver 2003 Chevrolet Impala while he attempted to cross Glen Cove Road near Cedar Swamp Road, police said.

The victim suffered severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene by a medic, police said.

No other details about the victim were provided by police.

The 25-year-old male driver remained at the scene, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
