Pet Adoption And Swiffer Giveaway Event In Port Washington: June 11

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — June is National Pet Adoption Month. And to celebrate, North Shore Animal League America is teaming up with Swiffer to host an adoption event on Saturday.

North Shore Animal League — which brands itself as the world's largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization — will be holding the event between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at its Port Washington headquarters.

• Cats and dogs six months to 2 years = 50 percent off adoption fees
• Cats and dogs over 3 years old = free adoptions

These specials are only available to approved adopters. All approved adopters will also receive a Swiffer giveaway product.
