“People are now meeting for the first time online but still crave in person connection as well. That’s why I’m using the hashtag #ConnectingHumans. Typical networking events, while wonderful and how I built my business, are more for business owners and salespeople. This is for everyone,” Granger said. “Future events with will have various formats and focuses -- some will have networking only and other will have speakers. In particular, a women-only LinkedIn Local is in the works.”

On Long Island, sponsors for the LinkedIn Local March 28th event include LaunchPad Huntington (event sponsor), LCH Communications (public relations sponsor) and Ellen Volpe, American Business Associates (speaker).
