Port Washington Branch Suspended Due To Flooding: LIRR

Customers are advised to use an alternate branch to reach Nassau County.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — At the height of the heavy rain pounding parts of the area on Thursday, the Long Island Rail Road is suspended in both directions on the Port Washington.

The culprit is flooding east of Flushing-Main Street.

The MTA urges customers heading east of Flushing-Main St. to consider an MTA or NICE bus.
