Port Washington Offers 'Sweet Deal' For Shopping Local

The Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District is offering a pretty "sweet" deal for those who choose to shop locally for Mother's Day.

Those who shop in Port Washington on Saturday, May 5 can receive a free cupcake at the following locations:

—Saint Honore Pastry Shop, located at 993 Port Washington Boulevard

—Schmear Bakery & Market, located at 83 Main St.

Here's how it works:

1. Make a purchase at a Port Washington store on Saturday, May 5.

2. Present your receipt at Saint Honore Pastry Shop or Schmear Bakery & Market.

3. The receipt must include the store name, address and date.

4. No food establishment receipts will be honored.

5. The offer is good while supplies last.

"Our organization is very grateful to these two Port Washington businesses for teaming up with us and to everyone who will be shopping local for Mother's Day and throughout the year," BID Executive Director Mariann Dailmonte said in a press release.
