Port Washington Students Show Skill And Spirit

South Salem Elementary School holds annual gymnastics show.

Excitement and enthusiasm filled the air at South Salem Elementary School on Feb. 12, when students, parents and faculty gathered for the school’s ninth annual gymnastics show.

The event, hosted by the physical education department, featured a variety of gymnastics routines performed by fifth-grade students. The program included a rhythmic gymnastics welcome dance, parallel bars, balance beam, rings and more. The annual show promotes overall physical activity and fitness among students, while helping them develop balance, flexibility and strength.
