Port Washington's Beacon Hill Civic Group Celebrates Centennial

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — North Hempstead town officials recently attended the Beacon Hill Residents Association Centennial Celebration at Harbor Links in Port Washington.
Judi Bosworth, the town supervisor, attended the celebration Feb. 8 along with council member Mariann Dalimonte. Bosworth and Dalimonte presented the leadership of the Beacon Hill Residents with a proclamation of recognition for their 100 years of sustained success as a local civic group.
The association was incorporated in 1919 by the first residents of the Beacon Hill neighborhood, located east of Port Washington Boulevard and bisected by Beacon Hill Road.
