Powerball Ticket Worth $1M Sold In Port Washington

The New York Lottery says a second-prize ticket worth $1,000,000 for Wednesday's Powerball drawing was sold in Port Washington.

The ticket was sold at Stop & Shop, located at 65 Shore Road.

The Powerball jackpot climbed up to $122 million on Wednesday. The cash amount will pay an estimated $73.5 million to the lucky winner.

The winning Powerball numbers were 09, 10, 12, 17, 23 and the Powerball number was 09.

The Powerball game is played by matching all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball number. The odds of picking the correct Powerball grand prize numbers are one in 292,201,338.
