Roslyn Heights Verizon Store Robbed At Gunpoint
BREAKING: Two men wearing ski masks fled the store with cell phones and cash.
UPDATED at 3:30 p.m.: Two armed men wearing ski masks robbed a cell phone store in Roslyn Heights on Monday morning, police say.
According to authorities, the robbers entered the Verizon store, located at 207 Mineola Ave., displayed a back handgun and ordered the 20-year-old store manager to the back office to open a safe at approximatley 10:23 a.m.
The manager complied and both robbers grabbed several cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash. They fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.
Police described one man as black, 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, and wearing gray sweat pants, black sneakers and a gray ski mask. Police described the second man as black, 25 years old, 150 pounds, 6 feet tall, and wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and a gray ski mask.
