Hempstead Teen ID'd As Shooting Victim Found In Nassau County

Detectives continue to investigate the homicide after identifying the victim as a 17-year-old.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Police have identified a Hempstead teen as the shooting victim found in Roslyn Harbor over the weekend.

Officers found Jarol Hernandez, 17, of Hempstead just before midnight Saturday night laying on the ground near Northern Boulevard and Museum Drive, Nassau County police said. Hernandez suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead by police medics.
