Roslyn Heights Man Fatally Struck By Tractor Trailer
The man was delivering dirt to a Suffolk County home on Tuesday morning when the incident occurred.

A Roslyn Heights man was struck and killed by a tractor trailer in East Moriches on Tuesday morning.
According to police, 72-year-old Bruce Barth was delivering dirt to a home on Moriches Avenue when he exited his 2005 Peterbilt tractor trailer, which then started moving and subsequently struck him at 11:40 a.m.
Barth was transported by East Moriches Community Ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead.

The incident is under investigation.
