Officials Warn Of Scam Targeting Port Washington Businesses

The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce is warning a phone message scam that is targeting local businesses.

A business owner reported they received a message asking for a donation to support the Port Washington Vikings Football Booster Club. If the business made a donation, their name would be put on the back of a t-shirt for the Viking Football Booster Club fundraiser.

Emails were also sent, the Chamber says.

If you receive a phone call or email similar to this solicitation, report it to the police.
