Police have released a sketch of a man who they said told an 11-year-old girl "ride, car, get in" in Nassau.

FLOWER HILL, NY — Police released a sketch of the luxury sedan driver in Flower Hill who they said told an 11-year-old girl to get in his car.

The girl was walking with a friend around 2:45 p.m. Friday near Dogwood Lane and Manhasset Woods Road when the man, driving a black BMW with tinted windows, stopped in the middle of the road. The driver rolled down the window and told the girl "ride, car, get in," police said. His voice had an accent.

Fearing for her safety, the girl screamed "No!" and ran in the opposite direction.
