Smoke Billows From Manhasset Apartment House: Police
The Manhasset-Lakeville Volunteer Fire Department responded and the Great Neck Fire Department provided a FAST team, fire officials said.

MANHASSET, NY — Firefighters from local departments fought a blaze at an apartment building on High Court Saturday evening, Nassau police said.
Officers responding to a call said they could see smoke emanating from the building.
Chief of Department Joseph Antonelli of the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department was the first to arrive at 1 High Court, department officials said on Facebook.

Members from all of the MLVFD companies responded. The Great Neck Fire Department provided a FAST team. The Manhasset-Lakeville FD Ambulance Corps was also present.
The Red Cross responded for the displaced residents, police said. No injuries were reported.

All fire department units were released from the scene at 8:57 p.m., department officials said on Facebook.
Arson Bomb Squad Detectives and the Nassau County Fire Marshal responded and the fire is deemed non-suspicious at this time, though the investigation continues, police said.
