Summer Concerts At Mary Jane Davies Green
Bring a lawn chair and your dancing shoes.

A free concert series is set to take place at Mary Jane Davies Green in Manhasset in July and August.
“Don’t miss these great concerts happening at Mary Jane Davies Green this summer,” Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Bosworth said in a press release. “There is a great variety of music. All you need to do is bring a lawn chair and your dancing shoes!”
Mary Jane Davies Green is on Plandome Road in Manhasset, across from Town Hall.

Tuesday, July 3— Country music night- featuring Mary Lamont, kick up your heels and join in the country fun from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Monday, July 9— King Kai, a tribute to Elvis Presley with this award winning Elvis tribute band from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Monday, July 16— Family Night- Darlene Graham and The Shades of Green Band- kids, parents, grandparents and neighbors find themselves singing and dancing to the music of this award winning group from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Monday, July 23— Folk and Rock Night- Featuring two performances: Raffi Froundjain, Armenian-American folk guitarist, solo fingerstyle acoustic guitarist and folk singer. Followed by: Just Sixties Band- this rock band is scheduled throughout Long Island and famous for their tribute to the music of the 1960’s from 7:15 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 7— Classic rock and R&B with the band Nitework, featuring the best rock and R&B sounds from the 60’s- today from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
