SUV Critically Injures Pedestrian In Manhasset
The man suffered serious head and internal injuries from the crash, police say.

A man is in critical condition after police say he was struck by a SUV while crossing a road in Manhasset on Saturday evening.
According to authorities, the 35-year-old man was attempting to cross Searingtown Road at Northern Boulevard when he was struck by a 2000 Lincoln Navigator traveling southbound at 6:17 p.m.
The man suffered serious head and internal injuries from the crash. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Lincoln, a 60-year-old woman, was not injured and stayed at the scene.
The vehicle was impounded for break testing and the investigation is ongoing.
