Tech Company To Move Headquarters From NYC To Port Washington
The move is expected to bring about 400 jobs to Nassau County.

A high-technology company is moving its national headquarters from Manhattan to Port Washington and bringing about 400 jobs to Nassau County, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced Friday.
Agilant Solutions Inc., formerly known as ASI System Integration, Inc., will be located at the 72,500-square-foot office building and warehouse owned by Ivy Enterprises, located at 3 Seaview Boulevard. Agilant plans to spend $2.6 million in renovations on offices, a technology lab, call center, help desk and warehouse space.
The move will result in more than 163 jobs moving to the area and 225 additional high-paying jobs, the county says. The company currently has 625 employees worldwide and plans to create another 255 permanent jobs in Port Washington within the next five years.

“This project allows a national leader in technology consulting to relocate and expand in Nassau County thereby benefiting the economy of the County by creating new jobs and private sector spending,” Joseph J. Kearney, Executive Director of the Nassau Industrial Development Agency, said in a press release.
The move is expected to be completed by January 2018. The site initially will house 163 full-time-equivalent positions, which are relocating from existing New York City and New Hyde Park offices.

The Nassau IDA helped lure Agilant to the county, Mangano said.
“This is a huge coup for Nassau County and my economic development team deserves kudos for not just helping to keep Agilant in New York State, but bringing what ultimately will be more than 400 high-paying jobs to Nassau County,” he said.
Officials say the move will result in $217.3 million in total economic benefits to Nassau County and net tax revenues of $1.38 million to affected tax jurisdictions.
Agilant is a leading independent provider of IT consulting, enterprise computing, staff augmentation, managed print, network, and asset disposal and recycling services to companies in publishing and media, health care, financial services, education, real estate, and manufacturing. It was listed as among New York’s 125 largest privately held companies in 2014 by Crain's New York Business.
