PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Thanksgiving is just days away. And if you're thinking of deep-frying your turkey this year, the Port Washington Fire Department wants you to take the proper safety precautions.
Posting on its Facebook page, the department shared important safety tips to avoid turkey fryer fires, as well as a video showing what can happen if you aren't careful.
