Town Of North Hempstead September 11 Memorial Service
The service will honor the 56 individuals from the Town of North Hempstead who lost their lives on this tragic day 17 years ago.

The Town of North Hempstead will hold its annual memorial service to remember those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, including the 56 individuals who called the Town of North Hempstead home.
The 17-year anniversary service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. at Mary Jane Davies Green, located on Plandome Road in Manhasset, which is across the street from Town Hall.
“The ceremony serves to provide all who endured the tragedy of September 11 an opportunity to reflect upon its impact and remember those we lost that day,” Town Clerk Wayne Wink said in a press release.

The service will be open to the public.
“During this memorial service, we gather as a community to honor and recognize those who lost their lives 17 years ago, including the 56 individuals from our North Hempstead family,” Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said.
