TRAFFIC ALERT: Downed Wires Shut Down Portion Of Community Drive
A portion of Community Drive is closed Monday due to downed power lines, Nassau County police say.
MANHASSET, NY — Downed power lines have forced crews to shut down the southbound lanes on Community Drive between High Street and Valley Road.
Nassau County police made the announcement shortly before 2 p.m., saying motorists should avoid the area. It is not immediately known when that part of Community Drive will reopen.
