Village of Munsey Park Trustees passed legislation banning marijuana sales last week.
The Village of Munsey Park last week passed legislation to ban the sale of marijuana within the village as state legislators seem poised to legalize statewide.
The ban, which was approved unanimously, prohibits the sale of marijuana for recreational and medical uses.
With the ban, Munsey Park becomes the second community in Nassau County, joing the Town of North Hempstead, to implement a ban.
