1 Caught Months After Fatal Crown Heights Shooting: NYPD
A 20-year-0ld accused of shooting two people was arrested Wednesday, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A man accused of fatally shooting a man and injuring another was arrested Wednesday, months after the Crown Heights shooting, police said.
Andrew Decoteau, 20, faces murder and weapons charges related to the April 9 shooting that killed 38-year-old Kevin Alves in the lobby of a building on Bergen Street near New York Avenue, according to the NYPD.
Alves was pronounced dead on the scene about 12:55 a.m. and another man was sent to an area hospital with gunshot wounds to the torso and ear, police said.

Decoteau was arrested inside his Brooklyn home, according to the New York Daily News.
