17-Year-Old Shot Dead On Crown Heights Street Corner: Cops
It was one of two shootings on Wednesday in the neighborhood, according to police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A 17-year-old was fatally shot on a Crown Heights street corner on Wednesday in one of two shootings within hours in the neighborhood, according to police.
Emergency responders found the 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his neck on the corner of Rochester Avenue and Sterling Place just before 9:30 p.m., police said. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There were no arrests in the incident as of Thursday morning.

The shooting was one of two in the neighborhood that day.
Less than a mile away, just before 3 p.m., a shooter fired at a white Honda Accord heading south on Albany Avenue from Dean Street, police said. He then got into a gray Honda Accord and tried to chase the white car, according to police.

There were no injuries reported from the incident. Police have not said the two shootings are connected.
No photo has been released of a suspect in the shooting death of the 17-year-old.
