2 Hospitalized After Prospect Lefferts Garden Fire: FDNY

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, NY — Two people were hospitalized after a four-story building in Prospect Lefferts Gardens set fire early Monday morning, according to the FDNY.

Some 106 firefighters contained the flames about 1:40 a.m., just over an hour after a building set fire on the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Hawthorne Street, according to the FDNY.

Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries, the FDNY said. The cause of the fire remained unknown Monday morning.

The fire stayed mostly on the first and second of a four-story building, according to the FDNY.
