1. You need music. Head to for the acoustic/jazz/soul sounds of . 683 Washington Ave. between St. Marks and Prospect, 10 p.m. No cover.

2. You need to get your teen to the museum. Tonight the there's , an evening of performances, art projects and interactive activities designed by teens. In celebration of Black History Month, the month the events are connected to the exhibition Question Bridge: Black Males. 200 Eastern Parkway, 4:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. Free.
3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Not a lot going on in Prospect Heights today, so head to the Pacific Library for Preschool Storytime from 10:45-11:30 a.m or Arts and Crafts from 4-5 p.m. Pacific Library, 25 4th Ave. at Pacific St. Free. See our for more options.

4. You need to know if your train is running ... Today it is, but all weekend, there will be no Q trains north of Prospect Park station. You can get a shuttle bus at the Seventh Avenue station to either Prospect Park, where you can pick up the southbound Q, or to Atlantic Avenue, where you can grab the N or R to Manhattan, according to the MTA.
5. ... And if you have to move your car. You do, but then you're good for a few days, because alternate side will be suspended on Monday, Feb. 13, for Lincoln's Birthday, according to the NYCDOT.
