5 Things: Halloween Parade, Rocky Horror, BAMboo and More

Prospect Heights-area information and events you won't want to miss.

1. You need to celebrate Halloween in style. Head to  BAM’s Halloween extravaganza, includes live music, roaming entertainers, a puppet show, games, candy giveaways, costume contests, and more. Lafayette Ave & Saint Felix St., 4 p.m. Free.

2. You need to celebrate Halloween with your favorite cult-film.  Head to , for a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. 683 Washington Ave. bet. Prospect and St. Marks. 11:30 p.m. no cover.

3. You need to celebrate Haloween with the kids. After you've hit BAMboo, head to Park Slope for the .The parade will follow last year's route, beginning on 14th Street and proceeding up Seventh Avenue. It will turn left on Third Street, and end at the Old Stone House, where the revelry continues until 8:30 p.m. and you can enjoy music from parade favorites Paprika and Hearts of Steel. 6:30 p.m. Free.

4. You need to know if your train is running ... It is! There are no planned service changes affecting Prospect Heights stations today, according to the MTA.

5. ... And if you have to move your car. Today you do, but alternate side will be suspended tomorrow, Nov. 1 for All Saints Day, according to the NYCDOT.
