5 Things: Artist Talk, Sing-Alongs with Mil or Lloyd, Subway Changes, More

Prospect Heights-area information and events you won't want to miss.

1. You need to get to the Brooklyn Museum more often. How about tonight? There's a  or an , both at 7 p.m., your choice. , 200 Eastern Pkwy. The film is free with museum suggested admission of $12, the talk is an additional $12.  

2. You need NOT to go to a museum. How about some music?  are playing tonight at 9 at , 683 Washington Ave., no cover.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. There are two sing-alongs today: a  at , 755 Dean St (at the corner of Underhill Ave), 10:30 a.m., $5/family and one with  at , 629 Vanderbilt Ave. bet. Prospect and St. Mark's. 3:30 p.m. $15. Or, see our  for the week.

4. You need to know if your train is running ...  From midnight to 5 a.m. there are no No. 2 trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan. Take the No. 5 or R trains to nearby stations instead, according to the MTA.  

5. ... And if you have to move your car. You do. The next alternate side of the street suspension isn't until Tues., Nov. 7 (and Wednesday, Nov. 8) for Idul-Adha, according to the NYCDOT.
