5 Things: Brooklyn's Classical Music History, Bluegrass, Comedy and Country

Plus comedy at Eve's and trivia at Sepia.

 

1. Hear some bluegrass. If you're in the mood for bluegrass, head to The Way Station for The Other Brothers. 683 Washington Ave. bet. St. Marks and Bergen. 9 p.m. No cover.

2. Hear some country. If country is more your thing, head to Branded Saloon for Tribute w/ Gerard & Viva. 603 Vanderbilt Ave. at Bergen, 8 p.m. Free.

3. Learn the history of classical music in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Phil Concertmaster Deborah Buck leads the event at the Dweck Center of Central Library on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. Children under 6-years-old will not be admitted. Click here for more information. 

4. Hit the bars. In non-music events, there's Tuesday Nite Comedy at Eve's, Trivia Tuesday at Sepia and Bingo at Branded Saloon.

5. Move the car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect today and won't be suspended again until Sunday, Feb. 10 for the Asian Lunar New Year.
