Saturday is Berms Clean Up and is St. Marks Harvest Fest and Bulb Planting

Friends of the Berms Clean Up and Bulb Planting - 10/22

Come join your neighbors as Friends of the Berms meets next Saturday, October 22 for its monthly clean-up and beautification of our Plaza Street parks. Special attraction this time: they'll be planting DAFFODILS throughout the berms! This is a great event for children and adults, so hope you can join in!

Neighbors will meet at 10:00 at our usual spot - corner of Plaza St & Vanderbilt Ave. - and then move to the day's work area. Please try to arrive by 10:00 so the group won't miss you! All hands are welcome - adults and supervised children, experienced or not. Bring a friend and come!

his Saturday, October 22  the St. Marks Avenue Harvest Fest and Greening Day will be a fabulous, fall-oriented event including art activities for children led by local teachers and gardeners inside the St. Marks Community Garden. Grown-ups and kids can also lend a hand with caring for tree beds and planting bulbs around the street trees along St. Marks Avenue.  Tools and gloves will be available, but please bring them if you have them.
