Arrested Crown Heights Subway Shover: 'I'm Going To Kill You': NYPD
The man who police said shoved a man onto subway tracks on Sunday told his victim his intentions, then chased on platform, said officials.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — "I'm going to kill you."
Police said that a man accused of pushing a straphanger onto the tracks at the President Street 2/5 train stop Sunday told his victim this, and then proceeded to chase the innocent man across the platform.
Officials said on Tuesday that Corey Walcott, 44, was arrested and charged with assault for the unprovoked subway shove, which left a 66-year-old man injured after he fell to the tracks.

"Prior to being pushed, our victim states the perp came up to him and said 'I'm going to kill you,'" said NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig at a press conference Tuesday.
Detectives arrested Walcott, who police said is currently homeless, in Manhattan at 14th Street and Sixth Avenue, Essig said.

Essig said that Walcott has a lengthy record of 19 prior arrests, including counts of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and forcible touching.
