Boy, 8, Killed By SUV While Crossing NYC Street, Police Say
An 8-year-old boy was killed after a driver struck him with a car as he walked with his sister Saturday, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — An 8-year-old boy was hit and killed by a car as he walked with his sister on a Crown Heights street Saturday afternoon, according to police.
The child, identified as Mordica Keller, and his sister were crossing the street at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Albany Avenue in Crown Heights when a driver traveling southbound in a black Honda Pilot struck him, officials said.
Officials said the sister was not hit by the SUV.

Keller was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The 69-year-old driver remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made. The NYPD Highway District Collision Squad is still investigating the incident.
