Crown Heights College and Career Fair Planned for Oct. 29
More than a dozen historically black colleges and universities will be there, along with major employers.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — The First Baptist Church of Crown Heights will host a college and career fair on Oct. 29. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, located at 450 Eastern Pkwy.
Representatives from The City University of New York (CUNY) and the State University of New York (SUNY) will be at the event, as will staffers from Medgar Evers College and more than 14 historically black colleges and universities, such as Spelman College and Florida A&M University.
More than a dozen major employers will also be at the fair, including Con Edison, New York Life Insurance Company, the Fire Department of New York, the NYPD, and the United Federation of Teachers.
