Crown Heights Subway Slasher Caught: NYPD
A Crown Heights man was arrested for slashing a straphanger in the face, police said.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, NY — A Crown Heights man was arrested Thursday after slashing a subway rider in the face, police said.
Sean Lewis, 33, of Crown Heights, is accused of slashing a man in the face on the C train about 9:50 p.m. on May 10, according to the NYPD.
Lewis was arguing with a subway rider when a 44-year-old stranger came in to intervene, police said. Lewis slashed the attempted peacemaker and then ran off at the Franklin Avenue station.

The victim was sent to an area hospital and had his face cut treated, police said.
Lewis now faces assault and weapons charges, police said.
