Elderly Man Stabbed To Death In His Brooklyn Apartment, Cops Say

BROOKLYN, NY — An elderly man was stabbed to death by his roommate in Flatbush on Friday, according to police and reports.

Freddy Quevedo was found stabbed multiple times in his back just before midnight at his East 21st Street apartment, according to police. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Quevado's roommate, 29-year-old Paola Jinenez, was charged with murder in the stabbing, according to police and the Daily News.

Jinenez was also taken to the hospital with a laceration on her hand, according to police and the outlet.

Police told the News the two roommates had gotten into a fight about how often Jinenez's boyfriend visited.
