PLG Teen Hit By Fireworks During July 4th Celebrations: NYPD, FDNY

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, NY — A Brooklyn teenager hit by misfired fireworks was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.

The 15-year-old was hurt during Fourth of July celebrations on Flatbush Avenue near Lenox Road about 1:25 a.m., police said.

Medics rushed the teen to Kings County Hospital with wounds on his hand and chest, officials said.

The teen's condition was not released.
