FOUND: Heloise Rathbone, Missing Brooklyn Senior

Rathbone was located Sunday morning in Boston.

Heloise Rathbone, a 73-year-old Prospect Heights resident, has returned home after an agonizing couple days for friends and family.

Rathbone was reported missing on Saturday, July 25. Police said she’d been planning to take a train to Boston early that morning, but never boarded the train.

She had last been seen at her home — a beautiful old brownstone on Sterling Place near Underhill — at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday evening.

But as of Sunday evening, “She is found; she is home,” says Jonathan Fluck, a who serves with Rathbone on the Peace and Social Action Committee of the Quakers’ Brooklyn chapter.

“She was found in Boston at 5:30 this morning,” Fluck says in an email. “She was on her way to visit friends in New Hampshire with a 4 hour lay-over in Boston, became disoriented, and walked into a hospital.”
