Brooklyn Pizza Crew is selling medium and large pies, as well as slices of whatever was cooked up for the day. Both round pies and square "grandma" ones are on the menu.

Simple offerings include the Brooklyn (grande mozzarella and tomato sauce) and the Margherita (basil, parmigiano-reggiano, olive oil, mozzarella and tomato sauce).

Then there's the Sophia Loren (which adds in garlic and Roma tomatoes), the Bianco (it includes parsley and ricotta), and the vegan option pictured at the top of this post (Roma tomatoes, garlic, onions, spinach, red peppers, mushrooms and cured black olives).

The grandma pies get more exotic, and include an Apple Bacon option (crushed walnuts, gorgonzola and apples) and a Calabrese (which mixes onions, sopressata, black olives, basil, mozzarella and other ingredients). The full menu is embedded below.

You can also make your own pie, and then enjoy it under the shop's silver chandeliers and in full view of a wall-spanning mural painted by New York artist Meres One.

During its soft launch, Brooklyn Pizza Crew is open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the week, and later on the weekends, though a manager said the schedule is still being finalized. Delivery will start in a few weeks, spanning from Flatbush Avenue in the west to Kingston Avenue in the east, and Lafayette Avenue in the north to Eastern Parkway in the south.

The shop is still looking to hire several delivery people with bikes. If you're interested, just drop in when it's open. The store can also be reached by phone by calling 718-363-1122.
