Girl Groped On Train At Prospect Avenue, Police Seek Suspect: NYPD

The victim is 15 years old, the police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a man who groped a teenage girl on the R train in Brooklyn, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the police, the 15-year-old victim was sitting on board a southbound R train when an unknown man sat down next to her at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station on Nov. 13 at 5 p.m.

As the train approached Prospect Avenue, the man put both of his hands on the inner thigh of the victim, and then the victim got off the train and reported the incident to the police, officials said.

The perpetrator also got off the train at Prospect Avenue and then boarded another train at the station, police said.

Police said anyone with information about this incident can anonymously call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
