Rodney Bonds, a restaurateur who developed Magic Soul Food among about 24 franchises nationwide, is the owner of the new eatery, according to the restaurant website.
"The lobster roll shop phenomenon is making this aspirational menu item widely available and easily accessible to seafood lovers throughout the U.S.," Bonds writes on his website.
"Lobster is no longer the exclusive item of full-service restaurants."
