Hit-And-Run In Crown Heights Sends 1 To Hospital: Police

BROOKLYN, NY — Two cars crashed into each other in Crown Heights on Sunday morning, and one driver sped away as the other driver was rushed to the hospital, New York Police Department officials said.

Around 9:28 a.m. at Eastern Parkway and Schenectady Avenue, two cars — a white Ford and a Toyota SUV — collided, heading in opposite directions on Eastern Parkway, according to police.

The white Ford sped off, as the driver of the Toyota was rushed by emergency responders to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with injuries to the driver's head, left shoulder and left leg, police said.

The Toyota was also damaged in the crash, police said.

The victim is in stable condition, and no arrests have been made yet, police officials said.
