Man Carjacked And Attacked In Crown Heights By Group Of Six: NYPD

Police want the public's assistance in identifying the men depicted in the attached surveillance photos, according to the NYPD.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — Police are on the lookout for six men, pictured above, who carjacked a 20-year-old man, then proceeded to assault him before fleeing on Tuesday, said the NYPD.

On Aug. 9, the victim had his car, an Infinity G37, parked when the group of men allegedly approached him on Union Street and New York Avenue and demanded he exit his vehicle and surrender his keys, according to police.

Despite complying, the young man was allegedly attacked when he tried to remove his personal belongings from the vehicle. There were no injuries reported as a result of the assault, authorities reported.

The suspects, depicted in the attached photos, fled the scene in his car as well as a
Black Hyundai Sonata, a black Mercedes Benz SUV and a white Audi SUV to parts unknown, said police.
