Man Fatally Stabbed Near Prospect Park In Broad Daylight: Cops

BROOKLYN, NY — A man was fatally stabbed in broad daylight near Prospect Park on Wednesday, according to police.

The man, who is in his 20s, was found stabbed in the neck on Hawthorne Street between Bedford and Flatbush avenues in Prospect Lefferts Gardens just after 12 p.m., according to police.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A person of interest had been taken into police custody for the stabbing, but charges were still pending as of 2 p.m., a spokesperson said.
