Man Robbed, Chased Out Of Car In Crown Heights: NYPD

A man was chased, attacked and robbed by a group of 10 in Crown Heights, according to police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A mob of 10 robbers chased down and beat a man in Crown Heights on March 21, police said Monday.

The 40-year-old had his phone stolen by the band of robbers near Utica Avenue and President Street at about 6:20 p.m., according to NYPD.

Police had made no arrests Monday.

The man was in his parked car a block away when the group approached and kicked his car. He got out to confront them, and they chased him down the block — they kicked and punched him when they caught up, police said.

The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition as the group dispersed in different directions, police said.
