Men With Kitchen Knife Steal PLG Teen's Scooter: Police

Three men armed with cutlery stole a 13-year-old's scooter a week ago on Empire Boulevard, officials said.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A trio of kitchen-knife armed men stole a scooter from a young teen earlier this month, police said.

On Feb. 20 at 4 p.m., three men approached a 13-year-old walking with a scooter on Empire Boulevard near Troy Avenue, officials said.

As one man brandished a kitchen knife, the other two stole the boy's scooter, officials said.

All three of the men then fled with the stolen scooter, police said, and are still at large.

No injuries were reported.

Police officials released multiple photos of people believed to be connected to the theft.
