MTA Worker Hides In Toll Booth From Knife-Wielding Flasher: Cops

"I'm going to kill you," the man told the MTA employee at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens subway stop, according to police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — An MTA employee was left hiding in a toll booth inside a Crown Heights subway station after a man who flashed her took out a knife and threatened her life, according to police.

The 51-year-old MTA worker was inside the toll booth at the Botanic Gardens Subway station when the man first came up to her, exposing his penis and masturbating, police said. The man then fled the area.

Later, when the MTA worker left the booth at the end of her shift, she noticed the man following her on the platform, police said.

The man took out a knife and told the woman, "I'm going to kill you," according to police.

The worker ran into a nearby toll booth, fearing for her life, and called police, cops said. She was able to grab a photo of the man on her cell phone before he fled on a southbound train.

There were no injuries from the incident, police said.

Police said the man is approximately 25-years-old, stands 5'8" tall, weighs 170 pounds and has brown eyes, a mustache, blotchy skin and a long dark Afro. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans and a multi-colored bandana.
