New Citi Bike Stations In Prospect Heights And Crown Heights: Here's Where DOT Wants To Put Them
The New York City Department of Transportation presented this proposal to the community on Tuesday night.
PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — The New York City Department of Transportation on Tuesday presented a plan to install 17 new Citi Bike stations across parts of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights.
The DOT showed the plan to Community Board 8, which covers Prospect Heights and northern Crown Heights. The proposed stations start at Flatbush Avenue near Grand Army Plaza and dot the neighborhoods east to Rogers Avenue, the border of the city's current phase of bike share expansion.
Some of the spots are on existing sidewalks and others in roadbeds. The proposal was created after several community feedback sessions.
