Photo Of Alleged Brooklyn Wing House Shooter Released By Police

This is the man police say opened fire at the new Crown Heights wing joint last month.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police released a photo of the man they say opened fire at Brooklyn Wing House last month, injuring three people.

The man pictured above in a surveillance footage still, walked into the new restaurant on the corner of Union Street and Nostrand Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on the night of Friday, August 25, police said. (For more information on this and other Crown Heights stories, subscribe to Patch.)

He had been walking down the street and came into the wing spot when he saw a man ordering at the counter, police said.

The victim sprinted past the counter into the kitchen, police said, and the gunman opened fire. He hit the 33-year-old victim in the neck, according to police, and also hit 18- and 28-year-old store workers in their legs.

All three men survived. The gunman fled through the back door, police said.
